Our Mission

 The mission of Alexandria West is to bring about a greater awareness of the Eastern and Western perennial wisdom traditions.  A deeper understanding of these wisdom traditions enables us to better understand ourselves, others, and to better contend with the modern world’s challenges and complexities. 

 Ways to Contribute:

 Subscribe to the Serapeum:

Become a member of Alexandria West and subscribe to the Journal.  Your subscription to the journal covers its cost of production, and any donation beyond the subscription price goes towards the continuation and expansion of the work.

 Help us build and maintain the web site:   

Alexandria West’s web site seeks to make available Ancient Wisdom literature and resources for all spiritual paths.  We welcome all suggestions for its improvement, and information concerning worthwhile sites we might link or other resources we might post on the site.  Also, please contact us when you discover a link that no longer works, and its new web address, if you know it.  

Volunteer your Time:

If you live in the Northern California area or plan to visit, and are interested in volunteering your time to Alexandria West, there are always projects in progress. Most of them require basic computer skills for the compilation of databases of various sorts.  Contact us at donations@alexandriawest.org to learn about current projects and how you might be able to help.    

Contribute to the Library and Special Collections:

Alexandria West is always seeking current and classic works germane to the Ancient Wisdom Traditions, as well as original documents, letters, manuscripts etc. of historical significance by and concerning those who contributed to the Ancient Wisdom Traditions.  If you have books, manuscripts and other historical documents to contribute, contact: librarian@alexandriawest.org.
